Ingredients:
Basumati Rice 1 Cup
Garlic Flakes 6
Aniseeds(Sombu) 1/2 Tsp
Cinnamon 1 inch piece
Curry leaves Few
Salt As Required
Vetrilai 5
Ghee 1 Tbl Spn
Turmeric Powder 1/2 Tsp
For Powder:
Black Til Seeds 1 Tsp
Pepper 1 Tsp
Dry Ginger Powder(Sukku) 1/2 Tsp
Fry the above three ingredients without oil and make it into powder
Preparation:
Cook the rice separately(For one cup rice you can pour 1 1/2 cup water). In a kadai put the ghee. Fry cinnamon and aniseeds. Then put garlic flakes. Then cut the leaves and add. Then add the above mentioned powder, salt and turmeric powder. Sprinkle little water and fry for few minutes. Now add cooked rice and mix gently. Sprinkle little water if necessary and mix. Keep it in low flame for few minutes. Then you can remove it from fire.

Soft Chappathi
Ingredients:
Wheat Flour 2 Cups
Water 1 1/2 Cup
Salt As Required
Oil 1 Tbl Spn
Preparation:
In a broad bowl pour the wheat flour. Put salt and mix it well. In stove keep the 1 1/2 cup water and little oil(1 tsp). Allow it to boil. When the bubbles comes pour the water in the flour and mix it with ladle. Close it with lid. Allow it to cool. Then knead it with hands and make it soft. If necessary sprinkle water. and mix. Make it into balls. Sprinkle little rice flour on the balls and prepare chappaties with roti maker or with the roll. With the help of pan fry chappaties both sides. Add little oil. It will be very soft.
